1. Overview
Ramen Post Scheduler is a private forked instance of Postiz operated by Ramen Labs LLC for Ramen Software Labs employee publishing workflows. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when employees and authorized collaborators use the service to prepare and schedule TikTok posts.
The service is not affiliated with TikTok. When you connect a TikTok account or publish through TikTok, TikTok's own terms, privacy policy, platform rules, and developer policies also apply.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email address, authentication details, workspace role, invite status, and account preferences.
TikTok OAuth information: TikTok profile identifiers, display information returned by TikTok, authorization status, scopes granted, refresh tokens, access tokens, token expiration data, and related connection metadata needed to keep the integration working.
Scheduled post information: uploaded or linked media, captions, hashtags, titles, scheduled dates and times, selected TikTok account, visibility settings, interaction settings, commercial content disclosure settings, approval notes, publish status, API response logs, and error messages.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, security logs, diagnostic logs, and basic analytics about use of the website and application.
Support information: messages you send to us, troubleshooting context, screenshots or files you choose to provide, and records of our responses.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, operate the private fork, connect authorized TikTok accounts, prepare and schedule posts, send content to TikTok when a user chooses to publish, display publish status, troubleshoot errors, secure the service, maintain audit records, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use connected TikTok data for advertising profiles or unrelated marketing databases.
4. TikTok Integration
When you connect TikTok, the service uses TikTok OAuth to request only the permissions needed for account identification and content publishing. TikTok may provide profile data, account capability data, and tokens that allow the service to publish on behalf of the connected account after user authorization.
Posts are sent to TikTok only through the configured publishing workflow. Users remain responsible for verifying captions, media, visibility settings, commercial content disclosures, music rights, and other TikTok publishing requirements before submitting a post.
If TikTok access is revoked, tokens expire, or TikTok rejects a publishing request, the service may store the resulting status and error information so employees can diagnose the issue.
5. Service Providers and Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us operate the service, including hosting, database, object storage, security, analytics, email, and infrastructure providers. Current infrastructure may include Cloudflare for DNS, security, caching, or storage services, and TikTok for OAuth and content publishing APIs.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security or integrity of the service, to enforce our Terms of Service, or as part of a business transfer involving Ramen Labs LLC.
6. Retention
We keep account, integration, scheduled post, and log information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and support publishing audits. Deleted drafts and disconnected accounts may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before routine deletion.
Users may request deletion of account data, connected TikTok credentials, drafts, and scheduled post records by contacting hey@ramensoftwarelabs.com. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or legitimate business purposes.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account credentials, TikTok access tokens, scheduled media, and publishing data. No system is perfectly secure, and users should protect their login credentials and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your Choices
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by emailing hey@ramensoftwarelabs.com. You can disconnect TikTok authorization through the service when available, through TikTok account settings, or by contacting us for support.
If you leave Ramen Software Labs or no longer need access, your account may be deactivated, and we may delete connected credentials when they are no longer needed.
9. Children's Privacy
The service is intended for Ramen Software Labs employees and authorized adult collaborators. It is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone under 18.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Ramen Labs LLC, its infrastructure providers, or TikTok operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred across borders as needed to provide the service.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
